NMMI ROTC At 2026 UFO Parade

👽🛸 The truth is out there… and it was marching through Roswell!

On July 3, 2026, the NMMI Garry Owen Squadron proudly participated in the annual UFO Festival Parade in Roswell, NM. Our ROTC cadre embraced the extraterrestrial spirit by suiting up as aliens and even “recruited” two unsuspecting cadets—Cadet Chavez and Cadet Diaz—for a one-of-a-kind mission.

As the parade rolled on, the alien cadre hilariously “abducted” NMMI cadets to conduct research into the secret behind their success. Their findings? NMMI cadets harness achievement through an unwavering commitment to Duty, Honor, and Achievement.

To top off an unforgettable evening, the NMMI SROTC entry was awarded “Best Alien Encounter”, making this year’s parade truly out of this world!
