BG McBurnette Representing NMMI During Good Morning America Segment

Good Morning America was in Roswell recently filming a segment for their “50 States in 50 Days” series highlighting various parts of America as the nation approaches its 250th anniversary. The Roswell segment focused on promoting the upcoming Roswell UFO Festival being held over the Fourth of July weekend. The Good Morning America Team, represented by John Quiñones, reported from the UFO Museum in downtown Roswell. Brigadier General McBurnette represented NMMI and had the opportunity to speak with several representatives including Mayor Tim Jennings and Miguel Marquez (a NMMI alumnus, 1985-1988) who covered the event as a correspondent for KOAT-TV (Channel 7), the ABC affiliate in Albuquerque.
