Southeast New Mexico Robotics Challenge – Results

This weekend, NMMI hosted the Southeast New Mexico Robotics Challenge, welcoming talented teams from across the region. Two of our teams, 69580X and 69580A, competed, showcasing their innovation and determination.

A special congratulations to Cadet Lucas Tang, the sole member of Team 69580A, who swept the competition, winning Tournament Champion, Skills Champion, and the prestigious Excellence Award!

Team 69580A previously dominated at Mescalero Apache Robotics Competition in November 2024, earning these same top honors. With this back-to-back success, Team 69580A has secured a spot at the New Mexico State Robotics Championship and received an invitation to compete in the U.S. Open Robotics Tournament in Iowa this March.
