When you’re at New Mexico Military Institute, life isn’t all about the classroom or drills—you’ll have plenty of ways to explore your interests and get involved in activities and clubs that make your experience even more memorable. NMMI is a place that values personal growth and leadership, and joining some of our over 55 clubs is one of the best ways to find what inspires you while connecting with other cadets.
With a variety of clubs and activities, there’s something here for everyone. If you’re passionate about service, consider the Cadet Chaplain’s Corps or the Volunteer Club. These groups offer meaningful ways to give back to the community, providing leadership experiences that are all about compassion and making a difference. Interested in debate or speaking up on issues that matter? You’ll find Speech and Debate teams, along with leadership opportunities in organizations like the Corps’ Student Government Association.
For cadets who love adventure, NMMI offers the Orienteering Club and outdoor activities like hiking and climbing. These clubs not only build teamwork skills but also provide a break from the usual routine, bringing you closer to fellow cadets who share your love for the outdoors.
