What is JROTC?

The Junior Reserve Officer’s Training Corps or JROTC program encourages high school students to become better citizens through leadership training and skills building. It is one of the largest character development and citizenship programs for youth in the world. NMMI is honored to be one of only 1,700 educational facilities in the United States to offer this distinguished program to our cadets.

JROTC

“Army JROTC is one of the core functioning parts of leadership building for high school students at NMMI. From Goss Rifles and Service Learning to Color Guard , the Mustang Battalion is present not only on post but in the community and world around them. I truly believe that I would not receive the opportunities given to me without the leadership I learned in JROTC.”
