Work Control Process

The responsibility of the NMMI Facilities Department is to maintain and repair existing buildings and grounds belonging to NMMI. The Facilities Department provides emergency services, minor routine repairs, custodial services, and minor construction for NMMI maintained facilities ranging from multi-story office buildings, live-in facilities, and golf course operations. Included in the services provided are climate control (HVAC), electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, roofing, painting, custodial, grounds and transportation services. Department Managers will assign maintenance personnel to tasks in accordance with established priorities. In order to effectively manage a large volume of work requests a process has been implemented by the Facilities Department.  The following information outlines the implemented process:
