The NMMI campus is a beautiful oasis nestled in the heart of Roswell. The 300 acre campus has 21 major buildings, parade field, practice and play fields, an 18 hole golf course and is designated a historic district on the National Register of Historic Places.
The campus building master plan was originally designed by brothers Isaac and William Rupp in 1908. The architectural style is a variation of Gothic Revival called Modified Gothic, Military Gothic or Scottish Castle. The buildings are all constructed out of unique Kansas buff brick and sport the Rapp brothers trademark octagonal turrets.
NMMI has several garden and plaza areas with statues and memorials honoring the history of the school and those who gave their lives as the ultimate sacrifice to their country.
