Originally built in 1918 and named Luna Natatorium in
honor of Lieutenant Antonio J. Luna, Class of 1914, this building
housed the first indoor swimming pool west of the
Mississippi River. The pool was used for all water
activities until the completion of the Godfrey Athletic
Center in 1981. Transition from a natatorium to a
museum began in the early 1980s and the building became the
McBride Museum. In 2006 the building was again
renovated to house Admissions, Financial Aid, the Alumni Association, and the Foundation. The McBride
Museum is now housed on the second story. The building was known as the Enrollment and Development Center (EDC) from 2006 to the fall of 2009.
