THE ARMY RESERVES
Enlisting in the Army Reserve is optional. While participating in ROTC Early Commissioning Program, at New Mexico Military Institute, you are not required to enlist in the Army Reserves. However, not enlisting in the Army Reserves means you will miss out on pay, tuition assistance, great experience, outstanding training, time accrued for pay and promotion, and other Army benefits.
If you complete Basic Combat Training (BCT) and Advanced Individual Training (AIT) before coming to NMMI, you can also take advantage of the Montgomery GI Bill and the GI Bill Kicker.
