 President/Superintendent
RADM David Ellison serves as the Chief Executive Officer of New Mexico
Military Institute. He is responsible to the Board of Regents for the
effective use of available resources, staffing, planning, organizing,
directing, coordinating, and controlling the activities of the
Institute. He executes his responsibilities through guidance and
direction provided to three supporting staff entities: an Administrative
Staff, an Executive Staff, and a Coordinating Staff.
The Administrative Staff
consists of an Adjutant/Legal Advisor, a Marketing Director/Public
Information Officer, and two executive secretaries.
The Executive Staff
comprises: the Executive Vice President,
the Commandant of
Cadets, the Academic Dean, the Vice President for Health, Physical
Education, Recreation and Director of Athletics, the Vice President for
Enrollment and Development, the Vice President for Facilities, the Vice
President for Business Processes, and the Vice President for Information
Technology.
The
President/Superintendent's Coordinating Staff is comprised of the
Executive Secretary of the NMMI Alumni Association and the President of
the NMMI Foundation. While providing support to the President &
Superintendent, these staff positions respond to direction and guidance
of their respective Boards of Directors.
The
management focus of the President/Superintendent, and his staffs, is the
implementation and continuing execution of the NMMI Vision and Mission. |
