Creating a Work Order

The Facilities Department utilizes an on-line work order system called School Dude. This system allows us to keep track of all work orders submitted. With this system we are also able to see just how long it took to complete a work order. We can also compile reports with statistics such as the number of man hours spent on any work order, hourly costs and costs of materials used when indicated.

Creating a work order is pretty simple. There are certain individuals from each building assigned to enter a work order. This helps to eliminate any unnecessary duplicate work orders. The Facilities Department sets up these individuals in the system. The following link will bring you to our "cheat sheet".
