Parents Club

Every cadet parent is a member of the NMMI Parents Club once their cadet is enrolled and for as long as they are enrolled. Formed as a non-profit organization, the Club is governed by a board of directors and formal by-laws. Its purpose is to serve as a communications channel between parents, the administration, and the staff and faculty. This communications link is used to enhance academic, athletic, social, cultural, extra-curricular activities, and the scholarship needs of NMMI cadets. The Board of Directors normally meets four times a year: at the Fall Matriculation, before Family Weekend (which is hosted by the Parents Club), at Homecoming and during Commencement. Any club member is eligible to serve on the Board based on a nomination process of members of the standing Board.
