Students Must update FASFA PIN with a new user friendly FSA ID
On May 10, 2015 the Federal Student Aid 4-digit PIN was replaced by an FSA ID, a username and password, that must be used to login to certain U.S. Department of Education websites including FAFSA, studentloans.gov, NSLDS and others. Visit the link below for instructions on how to create your FSA ID.
NMMI offers federal financial aid to all eligible college students. Federal funds are limited by law to college students. The application priority date is May 1; assistance is awarded after this date depending on availability of funds. More information is available from Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). As a college student applying for aid you have rights and responsibilities.

NMMI offers a variety of its own merit-based and need-based scholarships to qualified students. In addition, the Richard T. Knowles Legislative Scholarship Program awards one new scholarship per year to a resident from each legislative district in New Mexico.
There are two payment plans available: 1) The Cash Plan which requires payment of all tuition and fees plus uniforms and supplies prior to or at matriculation, or 2) the Deferred Payment Plan, where following an initial deposit and service fee, monthly payments are made.
