CADET PARTICIPATION
in the
YATES LEADERSHIP CHALLENGE

 

The programmatic outcomes of the Ropes Course and LRC strongly align to all three components of NMMI Institutional Mission: developing cadets capable of critical thinking, embodying character, and embracing physical challenges

Not only does it support cadet leadership through applied experiences, but is also becoming an essential part in working with our community, supporting the curriculum of schools. This in turn gives more exposure of NMMI to potential recruits.

Since its inception in 2005 the Ropes Course and LRC have delivered over 67,000 contact hours to both cadets and external participants.

Trust

  • Thousands of cadets, in a period of 6 plus years, have been impacted by the program.

  • Cadet facilitators make up nearly all of the 112 facilitators trained and hired (does not include LEAD 3.0 hours college class)
