Lady Colts Make it Three in a Row with Win Over VCA

Roswell, NM -- The Lady Colts have opened the 2006-07 season with three consecutive wins. Morgan Thomas scored 13 points as she led the Lady Colts to a 34-20 win over Valley Christian Academy on Thursday night. Thea Evans scored 8 points and pulled in 5 rebounds. The Lady Colts defensive pressure limited the Lions to only 20 points and has not allowed an opponent over 22 points all season. They had beaten Hondo 39-22 to start the season and then went on the road and knocked off Capitan 49-21. The Lady Colts are now 3-0 on the season. |
