Lady Colts take two

Lake Arthur, NM -- Taking 33 days off didn't seem to bother the Lady Colt basketball team as they won both games following the winter break. On Monday, they slipped by Hondo 41-37. Morgan Thomas led the team with 18 points. The next day they traveled down to Lake Arthur where their defense limited the Lady Panthers to just 19 points in their 27-19 victory. The Lady Colts' record now stands at 7-3 on the season with Thursday's game in Cloudcroft postponed due to the weather. |
