Herman Earns High Point Honors at Tatum Relays

Tatum, NM -- Junior Ruby Herman was the high point winner at the Tatum Relays as she led the Lady Colts to a seventh place finish. The boys team finished third behind three-first place finishes by Connor Williamson.
Herman won the 100M Dash with a time of 13.21 and the 200M Dash with a time of 28.31. She also earned a second place finish in the 400M Dash with a time of 1:07.21. In the long jump, Herman had a state qualifying distance of 16' 0" as she placed first in this event as well. In all she totaled 25 points. Megan Chopito won the 1600M run and the 3200M run with times of 6:10.31 and 13:35.03.
The boys team finished in third place with 63 points. Connor Williamson won the triple jump with a distance of 39' 5", the long jump at 19' 7 1/2" and the high jump at 5' 6". Skyler Evans placed second in the 300M hurdles with a time of 44.40.
