Colt Track Second at Falcon Invite

Loving, NM --  The Colt track team earned a second place finish at the Flying Falcon Invitational in Loving over the weekend.  The Lady Colts finished in sixth place.  As a team, the Colts earned three, first place finishes, three seconds, five third places, a fourth, and three fifth places.

Connor Williamson and Yu Cao placed first and third, respectively in the long jump.  Williamson also added second place finishes in the triple jump and the high jump.  Cao came in fourth in the boys 100M dash.

Brando Bourn recorded a state qualifying height in the pole vault when he vaulted 12'0".

The boys 400M relay finished in first place with a time of 46.02.  The 800M relay finished in second place, but earned a state qualifying time of 1:35.65.  The 1600M relay and the 1600M medley relay also finished in third place. 

Joshua Eagles placed third in the 110M hurdles and 300M hurdles. 

For the Lady Colts, they earned three first place finishes, three seconds, a third and one sixth place finish. 

Megan Chopito won the 1600M run and was second in the 3200M run.  Morgan Thomas won the 100M hurdles and was third in the 300M hurdles.  Jacque Lamendola won the 400M dash and was second in the 100M dash.
