Jan Olesinski Head Coach: 14th Season
Coach Jan Olesinski is entering his fourteenth season as the NMMI Colt swimming head coach. Olesinski also coaches Cross Country and girls track and field.
Olesinski, originally from Warsaw, Poland, was a two time Olympic Pent athlete for Poland in 1980 and 1984. In 1981, he was a member of the World Champion Pentathlon Team. Two times, 1997 and 1998, Coach Olesinski was named Pentathlon Development Coach of the Year.
Coach Olesinski came to NMMI in 1988 as the fencing coach. He became the head swimming and cross country coach in 1992. In 2002, Olesinski was also named head coach for the Lady Colt Track team. |
