Colts Drop District Game to Ruidoso 10/28/06
Roswell, NM -- The Colts dropped their second consecutive district game to the Ruidoso Warriors on Friday. The Colts needed a win to keep pace in the district but the Warriors put an end to that. The game was close at the half, with NMMI down by only 6 points. However, in the second half, Ruidoso's offense came alive and put up 14 and 13 points in the third and fourth quarters respectively. The Colts were able to get on the board with a 36-yard field goal by Connor Williamson. Andrew Cowan was also able to score on a 1-yard run. The Colts two point conversion was good, leaving the score 33-11. The Colts will wrap up the season next Friday on the road when they take on the Portales Rams. |
