Colt Cross Country 5th at Pecos Valley Invite

Roswell, NM -- The Colt cross country team improved on last week's 9th place finish at the Alamogordo Meet with a 5th place finish at the Pecos Valley Invite in Roswell. For the boys, Evan Bontrager was the top finisher for the Colts. He came in 12th with a time of 18:06. Wesley Ganaway finished 22nd with a time of 19:16.
On the girls side, the Lady Colts didn't have enough competitors to qualify for the team competition, but Meagan Chopito did her best with a time of 22:37, good enough for 17th place. Courtney Holm finished in 24th place with a time of 23:31.
