NMMI Shuts Down Dexter 48-23

Roswell, NM – NMMI senior guard Connor Williamson had a game to remember as the Colts defeated the Dexter Demons 48-23.  It was the first district win for the Colts since the 2003-04 season.  Williamson scored the first 23 points of the game for the Colts as they took a 23-10 lead just after the half.  He finished with a game-high 25 points.  NMMI’s defense limited Dexter to just 10 points in the first half and 13 in the second half.  Brian Porte led the Demons with 8 points.  With the win, NMMI improves to 12-7 overall and 1-1 in district.  Dexter drops to 10-12 overall and 0-3 in district play.
