Artesia Tops NMMI 69-49

Roswell, NM – The Artesia Bulldogs’ high speed offense was a little too much for the NMMI Colts to handle as the Bulldogs came away with the 69-49 victory.  Artesia was able to build an early 18 point advantage with NMMI’s Connor Williamson on the bench for most of the first half due to foul trouble.  The Colts rallied back to within 11 in the third quarter but it was the Bulldogs transition offense that proved too strong.  Derek Montoya led the Bulldogs with 21 points while Williamson pitched in 15.  NMMI falls to 11-7 on the season while Artesia improves to 16-6.
