Saturday at Cahoon Armory as No. 9-ranked Frank Phillips College
defeated No. 15 NMMI in Western Junior College Athletic

The Bronco volleyball team got more good news Wednesday, as the
team moved higher in the NJCAA standings, then topped Clarendon College
to get its second conference win of the season. The NMMI netters
are now ranked 15th in the national standings, the highest the team has
ever been ranked and the second highest any NMMI squad has ever
reached. ...

The Bronco volleyball team had a very successful week last week,
both on and off the court. The NMMI squad began the week by once
again being ranked by the National Junior College Athletic Association.
For the third straight week, the Bronco team made the top-20,
moving up up one spot to No. 19. ...

volleyball in New Mexico, you
can go to Albuquerque or Las
Cruces or - closer to home - the
New Mexico Military Institute
right here in Roswell. And while
the Broncos are the only
junior college in New Mexico to
field a volleyball team, that
doesn't mean the quality of play
will suffer. Head coach Shelby
Forchtner has high hopes for her
