Bronco Tennis Prepares for 2007 Fall Season

Roswell, NM -- Coach Gene Hardman will begin his 16th season as Bronco Head Tennis Coach. His teams have finished in the top 20 in each of his 1st 15 years. This year he is looking for a top 10 ranking.
Leading this year's team will be sophomore Chris Toli (Samoa). Chris is a 6' 4" lefty and a top D-1 prospect. He is expected to assume his # 1 position again. Other retuning letterman are: Danny Dominquez (El Paso TX), Rene Medina (El Paso TX) and Ben Mantell (Tucson AZ).
Joining the returnees will be: Steve Kwiatkwoski (Moscow ID), William Nino (Houston TX) and Sammy Ramoni (Solomon Islands). Sammy returns to NMMI (#1 2005/2006) after a year at the Citadel. The US Coast Guard Academy is sending 3 top junior players to NMMI for a year of preparation. They are: Nick Martin (Port Matilda PA), Greg Mitchell (Prairieville LA) and Wesley Figaro (Jacksonville FL).
Finishing off this year's squad will be Drew Zemanek (Merchant Marine Academy prep) from La Porte TX and David Doerrie (Houston TX).
The Broncos will open their season in Albuquerque NM August 31st at the Lobo Labor Day Open.
