Over the weekend of 9-12 Oct the Bronco team traveled to Albuquerque to play in the 10th annual Balloon Fiesta tournament. The tournament included NMMI (JC) and 10 D-1 schools. It was an opportunity for the NMMI players to see. ...

Broncos Travel to Hobbs, Find Success vs. U. of the SW

The 2008 Bronco tennis team traveled to Hobbs NM this weekend to scrimmage the College of The Southwest. For the 1st time in over 20 years Lady Broncos made an appearance.
On the men side the two teams played doubles 1st and the Bronco's swept the home team 3-0. In singles play the Bronco men won 5 of 6 losing only at #1 where Roman Fulgenzi played a super match before losing 1-6,6-3, (10-3 tie-breaker for the 3rd set).
Coach Hardman took only the top 2 lady players; Mariel Valarez and Nesi Fa. The girls played 3 singles matches each and 2 doubles match. They won all 8 contests.

Broncos Tennis Team Finishes Season 10th in the Nation!   The New Mexico Military Institute Bronco tennis team stepped up in a big way at the National tournament this year in Plano, Texas, finishing in 10th place with 20 team points. ...

 

NMMI tennis finds success at two levels

The New Mexico Military Institute tennis teams were a dominant force in their respective state and national tournaments. Two weekends ago, the Colt boys' tennis team, led by first-year head coach Zeljka Vidic, took first place in the Class A-3A state team tournament, held in Albuquerque May 9-10.

Abilene Trip Results  04/01/08

To be the best, you have to play against the best teams in the nation.  The Bronco tennis team did just that on the road in Abilene, facing two top 25 ranked D2 schools, and a 7th ranked NJCAA team.   more>>
