Broncos Top Wayland Baptist 99-68 11/29/06
Plainview, TX -- After a week long absence for the Thanksgiving holiday, the Bronco basketball team looked to knock the rust off against Wayland Baptist University. They did just that with a decisive 99-68 win. Byron Byrd led the Broncos in scoring with 20 points. Brandon Rodgers added 12. Marcus Smith returned from injury to pitch in with 11 and Josh Manning scored 10 points in his debut on the basketball court. Manning played linebacker for the Bronco football team this past season. The Broncos improve to 5-4 on the season with the victory.
