Broncos Drop Two at Lamar Tournament

Lamar, CO -- The Broncos dropped both of their games at the Lamar Classic in Colorado over the weekend. In opening round action, NMMI fell to Otero Junior College out of Colorado 77-70. Brandon Rogers led the Broncos with 13 points. Xavier Blueford pulled in 5 rebounds.
In round two, the Broncos went up against Lamar Community College. Taichien Dickerson scored 14 points in the losing effort as Lamar outscored NMMI 66-47. The Broncos drop to 5-6 on the season. They will take about a month off for winter break before beginning conference play on January 15th when they take on New Mexico Junior College.
