Broncos Start Season 3-3 11/11/06
Colorado Springs, CO -- The Broncos went 1-2 at the United States Air Force Academy Prep School Husky Classic over the weekend. They played the host team in the first round and took a 3-point lead at the half. They were outscored by 30 points in the second half to lose the game 80-52. Byron Byrd led the Broncos with 14 points. In the second game, NMMI was defeated by Northeastern Junior College 110-70. NJC was ranked 28th in the country coming into the game. The Broncos got back on track in the third game with an 80-61 win of FE Warren. The Broncos record sits at 3-3 on the season. They will be at home for the first time this season on Tuesday when they play Lubbock Christian University JV and on Saturday when they play Mesa Community College.
