Kaerwer and Sloback to Represent
NMMI at All Star Event

– Sophomores Sean Kaerwer and Mike Sloback will represent the
New Mexico Military Institute Bronco baseball team at the Region
V All Star Game next weekend in Waco, TX. The two all stars
will represent the Western Junior College Athletic Conference as
they go up against the all stars from the North Texas Junior
College Athletic Association.
Kaerwer is a
sophomore outfielder from El Paso, TX. He is a graduate of
Chapin High School. In 2007, Kaerwer started and played in 51
games while batting .309. He led the team with 50 hits and 2
home runs.
Sloback is
a sophomore from Surry, British Columbia, Canada. He attended
Earl Marriott Secondary and played for the White Rock Tritons.
Last season, Sloback started 33 games while playing in 35. He
batted .315 with 108 at bats.
