Directions to NMMI and the
Admissions Office
You can find the New Mexico
Military Institute on the corner of Main Street and
College Blvd. The NMMI post consists of 40 acres of
land including our 18 hole Golf
Course.

AIR
SERVICE:
Airline flights are
available from Dallas/Forth Worth to and from Roswell via American
Eagle Airlines. For flight information and reservations
visit
www.flyroswell.com or use your favorite travel
booking service.
The Roswell Airport at the Roswell Industrial Air Center
is approximately 10 miles from NMMI; therefore, a rental
car is needed (see below for rental car options.)
Public transportation is available, but you may have a
lengthy wait period.
BUS
SERVICE:
Bus service is provided through Texas, New Mexico &
Oklahoma (TNM&O) Coaches, Inc. of the Greyhound Family
of Companies. Visit the
TNM&O Web site to
make bus travel arrangements to and from Roswell. The bus station is approximately
four blocks south of NMMI on Main Street.
PRIVATE AUTOMOBILE:
From
Albuquerque, New Mexico
–
200 miles.
Take
I-40 east to Clines Corners. Take US 285 south at
Clines Corners. Stay on 285 through of town of Vaughn
to Roswell. US 285 becomes Main Street in Roswell.
NMMI is located on North Main and College Blvd. Turn
west off Main Street onto College Blvd. Turn right onto
Colt Ave. Take Colt Ave., through the parking lot until
you reach a circle turn around area. Visitor parking is
located just behind the turn around. Exit your car and
head towards the right, following the signs which will
point you to the Enrollment and Development Center.
From Lubbock, Texas International
Airport
–
171 miles.
From
the airport take Loop 289 to the Brownfield Exit, HWY
62\82. Take HWY 62\82 to Brownfield, Texas. Take HWY
82-380 from Brownfield to Plains, Texas. Stay on HWY
380 to Roswell. HWY 380 becomes 2nd Street
in Roswell. Stay on 2nd Street/HWY 380 to
Main Street. Turn right on Main and go 15 blocks to
College Blvd. NMMI is located on North Main and College
Blvd. Turn west off Main Street onto College Blvd.
Turn right onto Colt Ave. Take Colt Ave., through the
parking lot until you reach a circle turn around area.

From El Paso, Texas International
Airport

202 miles
Take
Airport to I-10. Take I-10 west to US HWY 54 North to
Alamogordo. Stay on US 54 to Tularosa. In Tularosa
take US 70 to Ruidoso. From Ruidoso take US 70/380 to
Roswell. US 70/380 turns into 2nd street in
Roswell. Take 2nd Street to Main Street.
Turn left onto Main Street and go 15 blocks to College
Blvd. NMMI is located on North Main and College Blvd.
Turn west off Main Street onto College Blvd. Turn right
onto Colt Ave. Take Colt Ave., through the parking lot
until you reach a turn around area. Visitor parking is

visit to NMMI, please visit the

discount page. Through a deal with Enterprise,
NMMI is able to offer its corporate discount rate to
prospective cadets and their families for their personal
rental car needs while visiting Roswell.
