NMMI Suggested Lender List

To learn about each lender's process for originating and servicing and for borrower benefits, compare information on their websites. Parents should use the links below to submit PLUS applications. PLUS loans are available for parents of college students only.  Lenders can do online credit checks and applications, as well as accept electronic signatures (e-sign) on the Federal PLUS Loan Master Promissory Note. Borrowers who choose to print and sign a paper note should submit it to the lender. The NMMI Financial Aid Office will be notified by the lender to certify loan eligibility electronically once the credit check has been completed and MPN received.

Parents of high school students may search the Web sites listed here for K-12 loans.  Feel free to explore lenders not on this list if you have a preference.

Student Loans (Stafford - Subsidized and Stafford - Unsubsidized) may not be initiated by the borrower.  You must contact the Financial Aid Office for proper procedure.

If you choose a lender that is not on this list, contact your lender directly to apply for your loan and complete your promissory note.  If you have borrowed prior PLUS Loans from another lender, we encourage you to use a suggested lender with the same servicer.
